Annual General Meeting. Wednesday of 1st week (28th April) was our annual general meeting. Great turn out, and we now have a new club committee!
Stash. We ordered stylish new hoodies from hoodeasy. If anyone wants to order more, get in touch...
Reservoir Dogs 2010 The first SWA core event of the DECADE, hosted by Cardiff on the 5th - 7th March. We made it there eventually, and stayed with Leah, our excellent host and Cardiff club president. Michael dominated the beginners sailing, and John and Eleanor made the most of the chilly conditions, cruising around on demo kit. Our stylish 50s costumes were also a highlight of the event!
Antoine Albeau. Oxford University Windsurf Club's favourite windsurfer is Antoine Albeau, current holder of the windsurfing speed record (49.09 knots) and eleven world championship titles.

Crew date! We had a crew date with ultimate frisbee. See the mailing list and email Clare for details.
Pondlife 6! The second SWA core event, held at Rutland Water near Nottingham on the 6th - 8th November. Pretty much the same format as Aussie Kiss, there were loads of unis there, and some great parties and windsurfing. Accommodation provided by Nottingham committee members.
Aussie Kiss 8: Superheroes. OUWC went to Cornwall for the biggest windsurf event of the year, featuring hundreds of students from dozens of universities. Having an elite crew of 8 hardcore windsurfers, we dominated the action at Saunton Sands on Saturday and then detoured to Portland Harbour for an epic sail the next day. Apart from the windsurfing, the trip highlight was "Oxford University in Tights" on Saturday night, as we joined the other unis in a superhero themed party.
More info can be found on the SWA website.
